Today, vinyl fence panels are used more and more widely. More and more people are aware of the benefits of vinyl fences, and everyone will choose vinyl more and give up the traditional fence. After all, vinyl lattice fence do not require frequent maintenance, do not need to be replaced, do not need to spray paint, and can basically be used for more than ten years. Its variety of types allows people to have more choices. Even if you like the look of a traditional wooden fence, there will be resin materials to make it look like a wooden fence. Vinyl fences also have more privacy, hiding places that people don't want to be known. Installation is also very simple. Then you may also want to know how to add the grid to the bottom of the deck. Next we will introduce how to add.
Tools and materials
Specific steps
Tools include: frame nails with air compressors and hoses, circular saws, electric miter saws, safety glasses, screw guns, shovel, sledgehammer, T-square and tape measure
Materials are: four 8" hinged, 17 with 4x8 privacy, 12 with 2X4x12 pressure treated wood, 25 with 2X2X8 pressure treated wood, 25 with 4x4x8 pressure treated wood
The 2X4 is nailed to an existing column to form the frame required for the vinyl fence to secure the lattice panel. Start at the bottom of the frame and make the wood 3 to 4 inches off the ground.
Each one will be a bit different because you are walking along the contour of the floor with the floor. Continue to nail vertically 2x4s, center 48 inches. Make sure to place a 2x4 (one for every 4 inches) at the seam of each vinyl fence panel.
Step 3: Make sure to install the access door somewhere around the vinyl fence enclosure.
Your local building code may need to do this.
Install the grid from the top of the vinyl fence panel (bottom of the deck) to the ground and write it down. At the other end of the panel (4 feet away), measurements are taken from the top of the panel to the ground. These two numbers may be different. Transfer these numbers to the grid and connect them with a T-line or chalk line. Cut the panel with a circular saw and nail it to the frame.
Measure the door frame from one corner to the other, then cut another 2x4 to that size, then pin the door frame at a vertical angle to support the door frame (create Z mode). For further support, add two diagonal 2x4s on each side of the large diagonal block, approximately 2 to 3 feet away.
To make the vinyl lattice fence structure look cleaner, remove rough edges and gaps. Create a frame using pressure-treated 1X4. The cut 1X4 is as much as the cut 2X4. If you have done a cut list before, you can use the same measurements to save time and material. Nail the 1X4 on the plaid with a narrow-neck stapler.
You can find it at your home supply store, which is usually a toolbox with all the parts and instructions. It may also be combined with bolts and screws, so make sure your screw has the right drill. Secure the hardware to the safety post on the support deck so that your access door will remain straight and will not sag.
